Scope Vision Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy ("Policy") explains what cookies Scope Vision, Inc. ("Scope Vision," "we," "us," or "our") sets when you use the Service, what each cookie does, how long it lasts, and how to change your preferences. It is template-grade text self-attested by Scope Vision under sign-off option (c) — defer with best-effort.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, then reads back on subsequent visits. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and (less commonly) to track you across sites. We use cookies sparingly.
Cookies we set today
Analytics cookies: none. We do not run any client-side analytics on the Service today. Sentry, when configured, collects only server-side error stack traces and request URLs — it does not set cookies in your browser. Any future product-analytics layer will require your explicit opt-in via the cookie banner before it is loaded.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the Service to work. They cannot be disabled; without them you cannot sign in or use core features.
| Cookie | Purpose | Expiry | Third-party access? |
|---|---|---|---|
bv_tenant_session | Authenticates the current logged-in workspace user. Set on sign-in, cleared on sign-out. | Session (cleared when browser closes) | No |
bv_tenant_session_refresh | Refresh token used to silently rotate bv_tenant_session before it expires. | 30 days | No |
bv_magic_request | Short-lived request ID issued when a magic-link sign-in is requested; consumed by the verify step. | 10 minutes | No |
bv_consent_analytics | Records your choice from the cookie banner (accepted or declined). Read on page load to decide whether to show the banner. | 180 days | No |
How to change your choice
The cookie banner appears the first time you visit the Service in a browser that does not already have a bv_consent_analytics cookie. Click Accept to opt in to any future analytics cookies, or Decline to keep the Service strictly-necessary-only. Your choice is recorded in bv_consent_analytics for one hundred and eighty (180) days and is not shown again during that period.
To change your choice before the 180-day window expires, clear bv_consent_analytics from your browser's cookie settings and reload the page — the banner will re-appear. You can also click "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page (once it is added; tracked separately) to re-open the choice dialog without clearing cookies.
Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to refuse all cookies, delete existing cookies, or warn you before accepting a cookie. The relevant settings live under Privacy, Security, or Cookies in your browser's preferences. Note that disabling cookies entirely will break authentication — you will not be able to sign in.
Changes to this Policy
We may revise this Policy from time to time. When we make a material change (such as adding a new cookie category or engaging a new analytics provider), we will notify you by email at least thirty (30) days before the change takes effect. Non-material changes (clarifications, typo fixes, contact-information updates) may be made without advance notice.
